It turned out that the conference was a real treasure trove of ideas starting to revolutionize the logistics business and unexpected impressions from the people who attended. From its inception, this event united the most agile, capable, and proactive businesspersons.
In this vast program, every hour was dedicated to discussion points of major relevance to the industry. A lot was dealt with starting from the complexities of international trade, technologies in automating supply chains, options for economic growth and sustainable development, and much more.

The GFS 2024 agenda: Three days of innovation
Day 1
These are just the great times at GFS, and we are ever so grateful to our dear clients and partners for their support and for the pride we feel in our work. SeaRates logos were the brightest star in every corner of Dubai Expo City at Global Freight Summit 2024!
The various emotions, impressions, and meet-ups that happen on the first day make it a day of memories. On the first day of the Global Freight Summit 2024, the greeting was given by Mike Bhaskaran, Chief Operations Officer at DP World, and then participants were allowed to ask questions and participate in a special discussion with Jim Yong Kim, 12th President of the World Bank. The conference’s theme, "Acting on the Opportunities of a Changing World," raises expectations.
Engaging panel discussions with brilliant insights on global trade, financing, supply chain aspects, and many others kept the conference right on track and satisfied our need for fresh knowledge. One of the keynote speakers was Tony Fernandes, CEO of Capital A and the brains behind Asia's leading low-cost airline, AirAsia. H.E. Other prominent speakers included H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade; H.E. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and CEO of DP World; Hadi Badri, CEO of the Dubai Economic Development Corporation; H.S.H. Prince Michael von Liechtenstein, Founder and Chairman of Geopolitical Intelligence Services; and more.
On the first day of the event, SeaRates' Head of Digital Department Ekaterina Komarova gave a speech outlining the benefits of our freight and global supply chain IT technologies. We are delighted to have her share these insights with the audience.

In addition, the 2024 Global Freight Summit was headlined by best-selling author and global leadership expert Robin Sharma. Sharma shared his success story and introduced the concept of "mindset mastery" to help executives at the global level improve their outlook.
As the first day of GFS 2024 drew close, the audience was treated to even more keynote addresses and panel discussions.
Day 2
Day two was filled with panel discussions on major topics such as global shipping trends, collaborative solutions for sustainable development, mastering the cold chain, artificial intelligence and robotics in trade and logistics, and many more.
On day two of the Global Freight Summit, superstars Ryan Reynolds, an actor and investor, and Shah Rukh Khan, a Bollywood actor, investor, and entrepreneur, wowed event attendees.
Day 3
Day 3 of the Global Freight Summit 2024 concluded with an invitation to synthesize the findings and insights presented throughout the event. Various sectors have focused on the fine details of supply chain management and international logistics, including software developers, shipping companies, freight forwarders, traders, and logistics solution providers:

One of the sessions that took place at GFS 2024 was that of Jimmy Wales, one of the co-founders of Wikipedia. The topic of their conversation was Open Collaboration and what this might entail in terms of international trade.
It is thus crystal clear from Jimmy Wales' address that, potentially, collective knowledge can scale any barrier. For instance, platforms that bring into conjunction with the market participants have all the possibilities to increase mutual understanding and clarity even within extremely difficult settings.
